Criei agora mesmo uma página no facebook para mostrar à Opel que há procura para carros como o Opel Rak-e.
É um carro fantástico para o trajecto casa-trabalho e mesmo só para dar umas voltinhas. Para além de eficiente é bonito.

Why there is demand for Opel Rak-e?
1 - It's an electric car and electricity is abundant, we can even produce it at home with solar panels or wind generators.
2 - It's efficient because of electric motor, low weight and great aerodynamic drag coefficient. This means low cost to operate, less than 1€ of electricity for 100km.
3 - Since the car is so efficient there isn't the need for a big battery, just a small 5kWh, this means less initial cost to buy and low charging time.
4 - It's convenient, since it is an electric car we can charge at home or at work without having to waste time and money in gas stations.
5 - Electric cars are cheap to maintain since they have less moving parts than combustion engine cars.
6 - The Opel Rak-e is so cool that makes Renault Twizy want to hide in shame
We listed why this car is appealing for customers but why should Opel really sell it?
1 - Sell cars to people that don't consider buying one standard gas car. Many young people don't consider buying gas cars because they are expensive to run and maintain, increase dependence on oil and all that comes from that...
2 - Toyota gained the image of eco-friendly, innovation and top technology manufacturer from hybrids cars, but the future relies on full electrics. It's an opportunity for Opel to became popular, specially within younger generations.
3 - Free advertising. When you deliver an product so innovative and appealing people will talk and write about it. Remember Toyota Prius and more recently Tesla Model S.
4 - Electric cars are easy and fast to build since they have less moving parts than combustion engine cars. This means low manufacturing costs.
5 - Electric cars will become mainstream whether Opel likes it or not, but they can chose to be leaders instead of followers.
